Type of peer review
The journal operates a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.
Initial screening
All submissions are first evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or a designated handling editor to assess their suitability with respect to the journal’s scope,
scientific quality, and compliance with submission requirements.
External peer review
Manuscripts considered suitable are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and absence of
conflicts of interest.
Editorial decision
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor makes one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
Revisions and final decision
Authors are requested to address reviewers’ comments and submit a revised manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief has the final responsibility for all publication
decisions.
Authors may contact the editorial office regarding concerns about the peer review process. Complaints and appeals are handled by the Editor-in-Chief in accordance with the journal’s Publication Ethics policy.
Confidentiality and ethics
All submitted manuscripts and reviewer reports are treated as confidential. Editors and reviewers are required to declare any conflicts of interest.
